Memory Silicon Validation Engineer

Location: USA, Mendota Heights-Northland

Annual base salary: USD 109,700–175,500, plus discretionary bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the development of memory parametric test structures and integrate them into test chips with cross-functional teams.
• Define memory test content and requirements with product teams and standardize testing methods.
• Diagnose memory faults and drive root-cause analysis through physical and electrical failure analysis.
• Develop and configure laboratory equipment for computer-controlled data acquisition.
• Create, debug, and maintain memory test software in Python and analyze silicon test data.
• Document test procedures and communicate results to memory design teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of SRAM, register-file, multi-port, and ROM memory architectures.
• Strong understanding of transistor-level circuit behavior, SRAM failure modes, CMOS fabrication, digital circuits, and device physics.
• Experience with Python, Linux, and shell scripting; familiarity with C++, Perl, or Tcl.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, silicon testing, debugging, and statistical data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related industry experience or master's degree with 6 years of related industry experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
