TL;DR
Cloud Engineer (GCP) (GCP/IaC): Building and maintaining scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure and data systems for enterprise clients with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, DevOps automation, and GCP data services. Focus on designing Kubernetes-based environments, implementing CI/CD and security controls, and solving complex reliability, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery challenges.
Location: Remote within the United States; CDT preferred. Immediate joiners only.

What you will do
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly scalable and resilient infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevOps practices across cloud environments.
- Implement security, compliance, monitoring, alerting, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure issues and performance bottlenecks while optimizing reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, data scientists, engineers, analysts, and software developers; document cloud architecture and operational processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing GCP infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong knowledge of Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, networking, IAM, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible is required.
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Firestore, Cloud Bigtable, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash, Linux and Windows administration, cloud security, and compliance frameworks including CIS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Nice to have
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
