Senior Cloud / DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, provision, optimize, and operate large multi-account AWS environments across GovCloud and commercial AWS partitions.
• Build repeatable infrastructure provisioning and operational automation using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Design and support secure CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, artifact management, and automated software delivery.
• Engineer and operate Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and Docker platforms for enterprise and multi-tenant workloads.
• Plan and execute application and infrastructure migrations, modernization, customer onboarding, technical refreshes, and system decommissioning.
• Provide Tier III production support, disaster recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, operational sustainment, and technical leadership across cloud engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with AWS cloud architecture, AWS GovCloud, hybrid-cloud environments, and large multi-account architectures.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud operations.
• Experience engineering and securing RHEL and Windows Server systems.
• Experience implementing DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, SRGs, FedRAMP, and AWS security best practices.
• Experience collaborating with government leadership, architects, cybersecurity teams, program managers, application teams, and other stakeholders.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate.
• AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate, Advanced Networking – Specialty, Security – Specialty, or AI Practitioner.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• CAPM, CompTIA Project+, or CompTIA Security+.
