Location: New York, New York, United States; office-based position

Salary: $176,000–$264,000 annual base salary

What you will do

  • Lead the transformation and optimization of the Technology Risk function and cyber defense program.
  • Partner with Technology Risk and Engineering leadership to define measurable goals aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform application security assessments, including code reviews, penetration tests, design reviews, and threat modeling.
  • Review application security architectures, policies, standards, and related documentation.
  • Research cloud services and identify secure ways to adopt cloud technologies.
  • Advise engineering and component owners on vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and remediation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years.
  • Experience in technical project or program management within the financial services or technology industry.
  • Knowledge of target operating models, control frameworks, process engineering, automation, and location strategy.
  • Experience identifying risks, assessing mitigating controls, and improving control environments in engineering or cybersecurity settings.
  • Background in risk management, compliance, regulatory matters, or information security.
  • Data analysis and visualization experience, including Microsoft Excel.
