30-Day Collections Department Lead

Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; overtime, weekend, and evening shifts may be required.

Salary: $17.50 per hour, plus potential performance bonus of up to $1,000.

What you will do

• Monitor live reports, call handling, department coverage, and compliance issues.
• Coach call-center agents and document interactions in coaching logs.
• Lead the department when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues, including hostile calls.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers and follow up on deadlines.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures.
• Sound judgment, strong organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver training and work under time constraints.
• Accurate grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and email etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and management matters.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and evening shifts.
