RVP, Solution Engineering - Central (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, United States; must be located in the CT time zone. The role requires 30–50% travel.

Annual base salary: $210,000–$322,000, plus commission eligibility and equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead Solutions Engineers through technical discovery, technical wins, customer adoption, value realization, and expansion.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success on pipeline, revenue, account planning, territory planning, and customer outcomes.
• Hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and retain technical talent while managing performance and ongoing enablement.
• Remove execution roadblocks, allocate resources, monitor regional metrics, and improve team performance through data-driven decisions.
• Lead strategic pre-sales opportunities, technical sales conversations, demonstrations, and customer-facing marketing events.
• Represent partner and customer needs in product direction and lead innovative cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of industry experience with strong technical skills across areas such as networking, security, operations, scripting, or programming.
• Proven experience leading and managing a technical team with an empathetic, inclusive, and accountable leadership style.
• Experience with large enterprise customers, strategic pre-sales opportunities, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving.
• Strong executive communication, emotional intelligence, organizational skills, judgment, and influencing ability.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
