Developer Evangelist (AI)

Location: Seattle, with a hybrid working environment or remote-friendly arrangement; regular travel to conferences, meetups, hackathons, and community events is expected.

What you will do

• Create practical blog posts, tutorials, how-to guides, video walkthroughs, livestreams, sample apps, starter kits, and code snippets for the Synthesia API.
• Represent Synthesia at conferences, meetups, hackathons, webinars, workshops, and community AMAs.
• Build relationships with developers, technical bloggers, community leaders, advocates, and early power users.
• Use the API and SDKs hands-on to build demos, debug integrations, and communicate technical capabilities credibly.
• Channel developer feedback and API friction points to Product, Engineering, Developer Support, and Documentation.
• Grow developer communities and measure content engagement, API sign-ups, community growth, and sentiment.

Requirements

• Experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or a similar technical communications role, ideally for a platform, API-first, or infrastructure company.
• Hands-on coding experience with APIs and SDKs, including building demo applications independently.
• Strong written, live, and public-speaking communication skills for a developer audience.
• Comfort with regular travel and in-person developer engagement.
• A sustained track record of producing blog, video, or community content.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, evolving function and turn developer feedback into actionable product signals.

• Existing following or credibility in a developer community related to video, AI/ML, automation, or enterprise software.
