What you will do

• Design and develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive interfaces and reusable components for healthcare applications.
• Build data-intensive visualizations and workflows supporting clinician decision-making and Clinical Decision Support experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and clinical data sources, presenting AI-generated summaries with transparency and traceability to source records.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI tests; participate in code reviews and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, clinical experts, architects, analysts, test engineers, interoperability teams, and DevSecOps engineers in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to sprint planning, demonstrations, user acceptance testing, releases, technical documentation, and design specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, responsive web design, and a modern component-based framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience implementing WCAG and ARIA accessibility standards and developing complex, data-intensive user interfaces.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary Agile software teams.
• U.S. citizenship is required, along with successful completion of a background check and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Veterans Affairs, federal healthcare programs, clinical workflows, or healthcare terminology.
• Knowledge of FHIR, C-CDA, CDS Hooks, SMART on FHIR, or related interoperability and Clinical Decision Support standards.
• Experience with healthcare data visualization, human-centered design, AWS or Azure, AI-generated content, or AI-assisted development tools.
