Mission Manager (Satellite Operations)

Location: Local to the Denver, Colorado region, with flexible teleworking opportunities. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Occasional travel is required to customer sites within the United States and hirify.global headquarters in Norway. US citizenship is required. The role may require eligibility to obtain a US Secret Clearance and support systems handling Controlled Unclassified Information.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually.

hirify.global provides satellite ground-station services for telemetry, tracking and command, and data acquisition for non-geostationary satellites.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical point of contact for satellite-operations customers.
• Own spacecraft mission lifecycles from contract award through mission completion.
• Coordinate mission integration, deliverables, customer communications, and program reviews.
• Manage ground-system requirements, verification, validation, and major phase-gate reviews.
• Lead anomaly investigations, vehicle and ground-software testing, and operational improvements.
• Mentor the satellite operations team and support on-console and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• 7+ years of satellite operations or related experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Confluence, SharePoint, Grafana, and similar collaboration or monitoring tools.
• 3+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Excellent communication skills in high-pressure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, a scientific discipline, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Spacecraft assembly, integration, and test experience.
• Experience working with international partners or on US Government spacecraft.
• Experience with multiple mission-control software suites.
