Gen AI Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept for agentic AI applications.
• Experiment with single-agent and multi-agent architectures, tool use, API calls, orchestration, and delegation.
• Prototype agent interoperability using MCP and A2A patterns.
• Improve model behavior through prompt engineering, RAG, lightweight tuning, and benchmarking across foundation models.
• Build lightweight RAG pipelines and simple UI or API experiences for stakeholder evaluation.
• Document results, risks, and productionization requirements while collaborating with product and domain teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software or ML engineering experience, including hands-on LLM or Gen AI prototype development.
• Strong Python skills and the ability to work quickly with unfamiliar tools and APIs.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or agent SDKs.
• Familiarity with MCP or A2A, tool use, function calling, and basic agent orchestration.
• Practical RAG experience with vector stores such as pgvector, FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and experience working with foundation models from multiple providers.

Nice to have

• Experience moving prototypes toward production using deployment, LLMOps/MLOps, and observability tooling.
• Fine-tuning or PEFT experience, including LoRA or QLoRA.
• Experience building MCP servers or contributing to open-source agent tooling.
• Multi-agent asynchronous workflows, React/TypeScript, cloud platforms, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Life-sciences or healthcare domain knowledge.
