Team Lead - Design and Engineering

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid arrangement with work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs. A flex-location benefit allows working from any location in the world for up to 30 days per year.

What you will do

• Translate technical, business, and operational requirements into clear technical and functional specifications.
• Lead technical setup and implementation of applications and modules across countries and regions.
• Coordinate with customers, development teams, and functional stakeholders on requirements, feasibility, scheduling, and system extensions.
• Manage technical changes, documentation, risks, issues, audit compliance, and continuous process improvements.
• Develop unit test plans, test cases, scripts, and technical testing activities.
• Mentor and coach a small group of less experienced specialists.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience deploying or supporting application software.
• Experience implementing systems and modules across multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
• University degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, business process improvement, change management, and computer systems.
• Strong communication, customer focus, teamwork, execution, and results orientation.
