Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; frequent presence in Utrecht is required.

Salary: €7,556–€10,794 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Lead and develop an international team of eight market data specialists across London, Utrecht, and New York.
• Set the strategic direction for end-to-end market data services and enable reliable, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery.
• Own market data platforms, vendor strategy, licensing models, and governance frameworks.
• Optimize vendor contracts and reduce market data spend through usage analytics.
• Lead incident resolution and improve platform resilience, uptime, and IT infrastructure efficiency.
• Align front-office needs with technology strategy and market data capabilities.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience in market data, IT infrastructure, market data distribution, and service management.
• Deep knowledge of market data platforms, industry vendors, products, and licensing models.
• Proven experience in vendor management, governance, cost optimization, compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Frequent presence in Utrecht is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience leading geographically distributed or international teams.
• Experience with large-scale market data transformation or optimization programs.
• Familiarity with financial markets, trading environments, and front-, middle-, and back-office market data consumption.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments and collaboration with global technology teams.
• Professional certifications in service management, project management, or leadership.
