Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States

Salary: $129,000–$193,500 gross annual base salary, with possible incentive compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy resilient, scalable software systems for AI agent tooling and ML applications.
• Build frameworks and engineering practices for creating, evaluating, and safely deploying autonomous AI agents.
• Develop production applications that enrich, analyze, and detect threats in intelligence data.
• Collaborate with engineering managers, product, research, and other cross-functional stakeholders to integrate AI agent solutions.
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions for the AI Tooling roadmap.
• Drive code quality, performance optimization, operational maturity, and delivery through an agile SDLC.

Requirements

• Senior-level individual contributor experience delivering complex software solutions.
• Strong software engineering background with deep expertise in distributed systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and its ecosystem for production AI/ML applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic loop design, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus workflow tools such as Git and Jira.
• Interest in cybersecurity and applying AI agent technology to threat intelligence and client protection.
