Technician (m/f) for Flight Simulators (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Gilze en Rijen, Netherlands

What you will do

• Diagnose and correct problems on flight simulators and associated systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight and post-flight checks, and visual system alignment.
• Run Qualification Test Guide procedures and record maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System.
• Support simulator refurbishment, hardware modifications, parts repair, testing, and validation.
• Provide timely customer service and technical support while completing required administrative and housekeeping tasks.
• Follow compliance and health and safety requirements in an aviation training environment.

Requirements

• Technical college diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace/aviation, or computer engineering, or at least one year of relevant technical experience.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Eligibility to obtain the required NATO security clearance through the Dutch authorities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, show initiative, and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, customer service, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Basic understanding of avionics, motion, and visual systems.
• Computer literacy, including PC architecture and networking.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Experience handling sensitive customer situations tactfully.
