What you will do

• Develop expertise across datacenter design, networks, storage, grid compute, operating systems, databases, communications, market data, and software languages.
• Design and develop computer and data infrastructure using internal hardware and public or private cloud solutions.
• Create automated testing processes, standards, tools, and operational solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve application and infrastructure issues through debugging, log analysis, monitoring, and documented resolutions.
• Monitor application health, service performance, production risk, and change management processes.
• Improve system stability and performance through automation, performance tuning, database queries, and machine learning techniques.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting application issues using Java, code debugging, or log analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting applications based on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar services.
• Software development experience with UNIX, Shell scripting, or Python.
• Experience designing and supporting database systems such as MongoDB, along with SQL performance tuning and query execution plan analysis.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, release, support, and disaster recovery planning.
