Senior Staff Engineer - Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate HashiCorp Boundary, including controllers, workers, brokering, session recording, identity integration, and access models.
• Engineer AWS and Azure network connectivity, routing, private endpoints, firewalls, transit gateways, IPAM, and cross-cloud paths.
• Develop production infrastructure automation with Terraform, Terragrunt, Python, and enterprise CI/CD tooling.
• Apply DevSecOps practices covering code security, dependency remediation, vulnerability management, secrets, and secure production operations.
• Lead technical workstreams and create reusable documentation, runbooks, and onboarding guides.
• Establish standards for AI-assisted development, including prompting, code review, security guardrails, and productivity evaluation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or platform engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Expert-level HashiCorp Boundary experience across deployment and operational access management.
• Deep AWS networking experience and strong Azure networking knowledge.
• Strong production Terraform/Terragrunt and Python experience.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, Docker, on-call operations, and incident/change management.
• Daily fluent use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, plus practical knowledge of LLM fundamentals and AI developer tooling.

• RDP session recording compensating controls or supplementary tooling experience.
• Azure VM domain-join and on-premises DNS troubleshooting experience.
• GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline authoring experience.
