Cloud Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions for globally available applications.
• Manage complex IT infrastructure focused on MS Windows, including Failover Clustering and NetApp Storage.
• Automate tasks and workflows using BASH, Python, and Ansible.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design database and data storage solutions that meet security and service level requirements.
• Conduct proof of concept (POC) and manage the migration of legacy applications to the cloud.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required on day 1.
• Must be based in the Herndon, Virginia area.
• 9+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to professional cloud engineering.
• Proven expertise in Azure architecture, including design, deployment, and testing.
• Strong proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux integration within Windows environments.
• BS in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience may be substituted).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CSFC.
• Experience with the Customer's field environment.
