TL;DR
Senior Finance Lead (Financial Management): Managing end-to-end finance operations for a manufacturing business in China across controlling, business partnering, tax, treasury, budgeting, and risk control with an accent on strategic planning, cost management, and regulatory compliance. Focus on improving profitability, forecasting cash flow and financial performance, and guiding complex investment and business decisions across Chinese entities.
Location: Beijing, China. Willingness to travel as needed.

What you will do
- Lead daily financial management across accounting, budgeting, analysis, treasury, tax, credit, and foreign-exchange risk control.
- Continuously improve the financial management control system and ensure compliance with corporate requirements and Chinese regulations.
- Develop five-year and short-term financial plans, monitor implementation, and improve quarterly and annual forecasting accuracy.
- Support investment and business strategy through financial analysis, forecasting, and actionable recommendations for management.
- Build robust cash-flow forecasts, monitor major fund usage, control budgets, and secure financing at the lowest practical cost.
- Promote cooperation among finance teams across Chinese entities and provide transparent advice on cost management and profitability improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or a related field.
- More than 10 years of overall financial management experience in multinational companies, including at least 5 years managing finance teams in manufacturing enterprises.
- Company-wide, regional finance leadership, or Finance Director experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of China GAAP, IFRS, local tax requirements, SOE requirements, treasury, tax planning, cost structures, and financial performance improvement.
- CPA, ACCA, or related qualifications are preferred.
- Proficient working English with strong verbal and written communication skills in a multinational and multicultural environment.
