Senior Staff Engineer - DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for a team or major platform engineering workstream.
• Design and operate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise.
• Implement DevSecOps controls, including security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and secrets management.
• Operate production services in Linux and Docker environments, including on-call and incident management.
• Integrate AI coding assistants, agentic tooling, and automated code and documentation generation into developer workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Expert-level TypeScript/JavaScript and AWS experience; strong Python skills.
• Production Terraform/IaC experience and expert GitHub Actions knowledge.
• Experience with DevSecOps, SAST/SCA, dependency and vulnerability remediation, and secrets management.
• Strong Linux/shell, Docker, Git/GitHub, production operations, and technical documentation skills.
• Daily fluent use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, plus practical knowledge of LLM fundamentals and AI-assisted development guardrails.

Nice to have

• Azure secure-access patterns and AWS Session Manager or IAM experience.
• Experience building developer platforms or internal paved-road tooling at scale.
• GitHub Enterprise/EMU experience.
