What you will do
- Establish and engage a user community and support the creation of a formal Science Team.
- Define science and research objectives, requirements, benefits, and management plans.
- Support suppliers in developing technical baselines and system requirements aligned with scientific needs.
- Coordinate announcements of opportunity, peer reviews, and selection processes for experiments, science teams, and projects.
- Prepare and support science operations, scientific data pipelines, and data utilization.
- Lead or support research activities and provide post-operations support to data users.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong documented experience coordinating scientific activities and teams, with effective communication skills.
- Expertise in lunar science, including lunar geology and geophysics.
- Expertise in space resources, such as experimental processes for producing materials or oxygen from extraterrestrial materials.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- The role is located in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.

- Knowledge of another European language.
