Salary: $67,034–$113,958 annually based on full-time employment.

What you will do
- Perform Oil, Gas, and Mineral assessments for properties considered for less-than-fee agricultural, rural, and conservation easement acquisitions.
- Analyze Florida Department of Environmental Protection permitting and mines databases, geological maps, lithologic boring reports, and related geological data.
- Prepare concise technical reports summarizing assessments, including GIS map exhibits and supporting well-borehole information.
- Complete additional geology-related work for environmental and planning projects as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, regulatory experts, and other environmental stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current, active Florida Professional Geologist (PG) license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of verified geological work experience applying geologic principles to environmental, natural-resource, or related projects.
- At least 1 year of experience analyzing geologic, soil, or groundwater data for technical reporting.
- At least 1 year of experience preparing technical documents, reports, or environmental assessments.
- At least 1 year of experience using standard geological or environmental data-analysis methods and tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with Florida environmental regulations.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary environmental or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
