Senior Associate, New Verticals - Canada Strategy & Operations

Location: Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid model with a few days per month in person

Salary: $97,000–$121,000 CAD per year, plus potential equity grants.

hirify.global operates a marketplace spanning grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and DashMart stores across the US and Canada.

What you will do

• Develop strategies that balance the needs of Dashers, merchants, and consumers across the Canadian New Verticals marketplace.
• Own dashboards and weekly metrics covering operational efficiency, acceptance rates, batching, basket size, subtotals, and related marketplace outcomes.
• Design, launch, and communicate operational experiments and product features involving delivery windows, order batching, predictive ordering, and in-app merchandising.
• Build economic, operational, and strategic models using Excel and SQL to evaluate programs and experiments.
• Use AI tools to automate manual workflows, create prototypes, and develop product visions.
• Partner with Growth, Quality, Finance, Product, Analytics, Engineering, and US Logistics teams to launch initiatives and scale successful approaches.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups, or a related field.
• Experience building complex SQL queries across multiple data sources.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
• Ability to solve problems from first principles, operate with ownership, and build initiatives from the ground up.
• Active interest in experimenting with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Gemini.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
