Senior Associate, New Verticals - Canada Strategy & Operations (AI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario or Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; hybrid model with a few in-person days each month

Salary: CAD 97,000–121,000 per year, plus potential equity grants.

hirify.global operates a marketplace connecting consumers, merchants, and Dashers, with New Verticals spanning grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and DashMart stores across the US and Canada.

What you will do

• Develop strategies to improve marketplace efficiency and service quality across Dashers, merchants, and consumers.
• Own operational dashboards and weekly metrics, including acceptance rates, batching, subtotals, and basket size.
• Design, launch, and evaluate operational experiments and product features such as dynamic delivery windows, order batching, predictive ordering, and in-app merchandising.
• Build Excel and SQL models to assess the economic, operational, and strategic impact of programs and experiments.
• Use AI tools to automate manual workflows, accelerate analysis, and prototype new product ideas.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Growth, Quality, and US Logistics teams to launch and scale initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of relevant experience in technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a first-principles, entrepreneurial approach.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries across multiple data sources.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Gemini.
