Social Assistance Relationship Specialist (social assistance programs and referral analytics): Improving access to sustainable employment by building partnerships with Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Employment Ontario providers, and community organizations with an accent on referral strategies, performance analysis, and integrated employment services. Focus on analyzing referral pipelines, identifying service gaps, developing actionable recommendations, and supporting partners across the Toronto region.

Location: Remote with minimum weekly visits to OW/ODSP offices, service provider sites, and community events in the Toronto region

Salary: CAD 65,000–70,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build and maintain relationships with Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Employment Ontario, and community partners.
  • Establish referral targets and strategies that increase client access to employment services.
  • Deliver training, information sessions, and resources on integrated employment services and referral pathways.
  • Monitor referral volumes, conversion rates, caseload trends, and partner engagement activity.
  • Analyze performance data to identify service gaps and produce recommendations, reports, dashboards, and summaries.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams and keep partners informed about changes to social assistance legislation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of social assistance programs and benefits.
  • Knowledge of local specialist, inclusion-group, public-sector, and commissioned services.
  • Experience working in an outcomes- or target-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, partnership-building, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and engage effectively with senior leaders, managers, and frontline staff.
  • Availability for regular travel and weekly in-person visits across the Toronto region.

Nice to have

  • French language skills for bilingual communication.
  • Lived experience or a strong passion for supporting employment outcomes.
