IT POS & Infrastructure Specialist (POS)

Location: Kansai Office, Japan

What you will do

• Implement and integrate POS systems for food and beverage outlets, ensuring reliable connectivity, data synchronization, and compliance with security standards.
• Configure and manage office infrastructure, including networks, internet connectivity, office applications, IP telephony, computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support for store and back-office hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage software procurement, licensing, updates, business application integrations, and local IT asset inventories.
• Implement IT policies, disaster recovery plans, user training, documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
• Coordinate vendors and regional or global IT teams on incidents, procurement, deployments, performance reporting, and technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in technical support or IT infrastructure support.
• Prior POS experience in retail or food and beverage environments is highly preferred.
• Customer-service orientation, a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Japanese and effective communication in English are required.
