Field Application Specialist (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote from Taiwan, with required meetings and training at the main office, customer laboratories, trade shows, workshops, and other field locations

What you will do

• Integrate instruments, assays, and connectivity solutions into customer laboratories and support evaluation and implementation.
• Provide pre- and post-sales application support, including technical seminars, presentations, demonstrations, and customer training.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving scientific instrumentation, software, assays, and laboratory solutions.
• Develop account strategies with Sales Representatives to grow new business and retain existing customers.
• Manage documentation, customer complaints, installation records, and customer activity databases.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in biotechnology, immunology, life sciences, biological sciences, or a related scientific field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in flow cytometry, laboratory automation, or an Application Specialist role.
• Experience installing, operating, demonstrating, and troubleshooting scientific instrumentation, software, assays, or related laboratory solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based customer support role and deliver technical training, seminars, and presentations.
• Availability for frequent domestic and international business travel, including overnight travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in immunology, genomics, or cell biology.
• Experience in cell therapy or biopharma.
