What you will do
- Provide advanced telephone, email, remote-access, and onsite technical support for instrument systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, connectivity, and networking issues.
- Perform installations, commissioning, qualification, calibration, validation, preventative maintenance, and pharmaceutical IQ/OQ activities.
- Manage CRM cases, RMAs, service quotes, troubleshooting records, technical documentation, and customer follow-up.
- Act as an escalation resource for Level I specialists and collaborate with customers, Field Service, Commercial, and internal support teams.
- Support upgrades, corrective actions, knowledge-base development, training, investigations, and after-hours emergency response.
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish required.
- 1β4 years of customer support, technical support, or related customer-facing experience.
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or Electronics.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems and communicating solutions clearly to users with different technical backgrounds.
- Experience with technical writing, CRM or case-management systems, and accurate documentation.
- Ability to travel to customer sites, lift and carry up to 75 lbs, wear PPE, and remain stationary for extended periods.
Nice to have
- Medical device, point-of-care, clinical laboratory, research laboratory, biotechnology, or biologics manufacturing experience.
- Salesforce, ERP, or broader CRM experience.
- MLT/MT certification.
