Technical Services Engineer (Healthcare and/or Software as a Medical Device - SaMD)

Location: Hybrid, based in the continental United States; candidates must reside and be legally eligible to work in the United States now and in the future.

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize multiple incoming customer issues according to urgency and impact.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in web-based applications, including performance, API, and infrastructure problems.
• Document issues, resolutions, standard operating procedures, and escalation processes.
• Escalate issues to internal Engineering and Customer Success teams when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with customers about troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, healthcare, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in technical services, customer support, or a related healthcare or software role.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging cloud-hosted web applications, including performance issues, API failures, and infrastructure problems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their design, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in and be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Software as a Medical Device, HIPAA, and FDA guidelines.
• Experience with Python, React, React Native, MongoDB, or GCP.
