Data Integration Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model with 60% remote work per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain data interoperability across enterprise systems with cross-functional teams.
• Implement data mapping, data-quality controls, and reliable pipelines for the Aym-otion migration.
• Design, build, monitor, and document integration and migration pipelines according to governance standards.
• Implement embedded BI dashboards to enable data consumption within applications.
• Gather integration requirements from business and IT stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Improve the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of complex data flows and shared pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in data integration, analytics engineering, or BI development.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and supporting migration initiatives.
• Understanding of APIs, event streaming, and ETL/ELT integration patterns.
• Experience with BI tools, including SnapLogic or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with metadata management and reusable shared pipelines.
• Proactive approach to proposing technical and process improvements.
