Data Engineer (SQL)

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid work required

What you will do

• Analyze complex datasets and produce actionable insights for business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows using SQL, Stambia, Oracle Exadata, and related tools.
• Support the design and implementation of data models and structures for reporting and analysis.
• Improve data processes and analytics methodologies, including coordination of ongoing operational RUN activities.
• Handle functional incidents, contribute to technical enhancements, and present findings in French and English.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, data quality practices, and data modeling.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform; Oracle Exadata experience is advantageous.
• French at C1 level and English at B2 level are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Exadata.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
