What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain StackOS, the vehicle operating system for autonomous trucks.
• Own the architecture and implementation of the onboard Deploy Manager responsible for safe software delivery and updates.
• Develop features from ideation through deployment with internal customers.
• Automate vehicle assembly, software provisioning, and ongoing update processes.
• Improve system performance, reliability, usability, and deployment workflows across vehicle, simulation, cloud, and HIL environments.
• Partner with safety and validation teams and maintain robust automated testing and code review practices.

Requirements

• Strong C++ development experience.
• Expert knowledge of software engineering and algorithm design principles.
• Significant experience developing high-performance software for resource-constrained environments, preferably safety-critical systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux and building Linux distributions with Yocto.
• Strong understanding of POSIX, concurrent programming, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience working with and debugging embedded systems; Python experience is highly preferred.
