What you will do

• Define and own the European communications strategy as the business expands across the region.
• Design and run creative campaigns across media, social channels, and events.
• Develop regional positioning, adapt global announcements for local audiences, and create original European stories.
• Identify and mitigate reputational risks while building relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organizers.
• Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities.
• Partner with sales, marketing, policy, legal, deployment, general managers, and regional marketing leads; establish the European communications operating model and manage agencies.

Requirements

• Experience managing communications across multiple European markets.
• Strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications and a track record of pitching stories and handling complex corporate issues.
• Strong understanding of Europe’s political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape.
• Experience creating unusually creative communications campaigns using non-traditional tactics and channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with emerging operating models.
