Vault and Cash Operations Specialist (Banking)

Location: On-site in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines

What you will do

• Act as the primary vault custodian and enforce access and dual-control procedures.
• Manage daily cash operations, including cash releases, end-of-day balancing, and safekeeping of cash, cheques, and accountable forms.
• Execute maker-checker controls and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Maintain vault access logs, operational records, and documentation according to retention policies.
• Conduct inventory, replenishment, and proper handling of accountable forms and obsolete stocks.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements, UAT, and business continuity activities while collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in cash handling, vault management, or banking branch operations.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
• High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured processes in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable Philippine regulatory requirements, including BSP, AMLC, PDIC, and BIR standards.
