UX/UI Designer (Figma, Product Design & User Experience)

Location: Remote from Italy; working hours aligned with U.S. client business hours, with flexibility for sprint reviews and design handoffs.

What you will do

• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral analysis to identify friction and improvement opportunities.
• Translate research and business requirements into personas, journeys, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design responsive web and mobile interfaces, including onboarding, navigation, dashboards, workflows, and conversion paths.
• Build and maintain reusable components, design systems, style guides, and design documentation.
• Apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility practices and validate usability through testing and product feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on design reviews, Agile ceremonies, developer handoff, and implementation quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional UX/UI, Product Design, or Digital Product Design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity interfaces, and design systems.
• Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile products with a strong understanding of UX, interaction design, usability, and visual design.
• A portfolio demonstrating both UX problem-solving and polished UI execution.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Italy during U.S. client business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS products, mobile apps, or e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, frontend development concepts, Hotjar, FullStory, or user analytics tools.
• Experience with usability testing, user research, A/B testing, conversion optimization, or large-scale design systems.
• Familiarity with Agile product development environments.
