What you will do

• Define specifications, assess feasibility, design, and simulate DC/DC buck, boost, and buck-boost converters.
• Estimate silicon area and performance while delivering against demanding schedules and quality targets.
• Own the DCDC converter macro from specification through production, including validation and ATE support.
• Collaborate with physical design, digital, firmware, layout, and test teams on analog block integration and product delivery.
• Participate in IC- and system-level peer reviews and lead customer design reviews, root-cause analysis, and bug fixes.
• Guide and develop junior and senior engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience designing analog blocks and power-management systems.
• Experience with technical design leadership and a proven record of delivering working silicon for high-volume products.
• Strong knowledge of transistor-level integrated circuits, device physics, layout matching, parasitics, latch-up, and ESD.
• Analytical, rigorous, and methodical approach to debugging designs and silicon issues.
• Familiarity with EDA design tools and the Cadence design environment.

• Knowledge of power-management designs across multiple application types, especially DCDC converters.
