TL;DR

Senior / Staff Analog Design Engineer (Mixed-Signal): Developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for audio and power management with an accent on low-power CMOS processes and system-level modeling. Location: Hybrid (Edinburgh, UK). Must be based within commutable distance of Edinburgh or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment.

What you will do

  • Develop advanced mixed-signal solutions from specification through architecture, design, integration, and production.
  • Perform system-level modeling and analysis using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and Spectre.
  • Design and implement high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits at the transistor level.
  • Lead design integration and oversee layout implementation in collaboration with layout engineers.
  • Conduct hands-on silicon validation, lab evaluation, and debug to enable successful bring-up.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product delivery from concept through mass production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with proven industry experience.
  • Expertise in CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuit design for low-power, high-performance applications.
  • Solid knowledge of control theory and inductive/capacitive power converters.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and LTspice (or similar modeling tools).
  • Experience with advanced CMOS technology nodes, device physics, parasitics, and ESD/latch-up protection.
  • Must be based within commutable distance of Edinburgh or willing to relocate to the UK.
