Teaching Associate

Location: Grafton Street, Manchester, UK; on-campus teaching is required.

What you will do

• Deliver small-group teaching through problem-based learning, team-based learning, and tutorials.
• Supervise and assess literature reviews, academic posters, and undergraduate research projects.
• Contribute to teaching across cardiovascular health and disease, medical and dental programmes, and biomedical programmes.
• Conduct admissions interviews and provide pastoral support to students.

Requirements

• Have or be close to obtaining a PhD in biomedical science or a related discipline.
• Communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
• Engage and motivate learners.
• Have experience delivering, supervising, or supporting teaching or research projects.
• Be able to carry out teaching on campus.

Nice to have

• Background in cardiovascular sciences.
• Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
