Application Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York, New York, with availability during Eastern Time working hours. Candidates must have valid travel documents and work authorization without restrictions in the US.

What you will do

• Review code, architecture, designs, and planned releases for security risks.
• Guide product features and technical designs toward secure implementation.
• Perform hands-on manual penetration testing of relevant code changes.
• Build and maintain security tooling that scales with the organization.
• Advise DevOps on infrastructure security best practices and work across adjacent security domains, including MDM.
• Support enterprise customers through security questionnaires and client calls.

Requirements

• Proven experience securing products and platforms in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Strong application security expertise, including OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, code reviews, and architecture design.
• Practical understanding of AI, AI threats, adversarial testing, and AI tooling.
• Familiarity with AWS, infrastructure security, incident response, and SOC processes.
• Ability to write and review Python and TypeScript code.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and enterprise security processes.
