Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build deployment solutions for complex, customer-facing environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, operations, and maintenance through code.
• Drive continuous delivery, release automation, development lifecycle improvements, and deployment standards.
• Build development tools and infrastructure for sophisticated government missions across multiple environments.
• Embed security into infrastructure, monitor system metrics, and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and advanced DevOps education to colleagues.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Recognized expertise in DevOps engineering and automated deployment solution design.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, and configuration management.
• Experience solving unusually complex technical problems and working independently on technical objectives.

Nice to have

• GitLab CI/CD and Jira experience.
• AWS, Azure, DataBricks, and Kubernetes experience.
• Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi expertise.
• Enterprise-scale DevOps transformation leadership.
• Spark or other large-scale data processing experience, and government or defense consulting experience.
