Global Director, Programme & Project Management

Location: London, with a 50% hybrid working model averaging two to three days onsite.

What you will do

• Lead the global Programme & Project Management function responsible for end-to-end client campaign delivery across multiple products, markets, platforms, and sectors.
• Unify the FT Longitude and FT Studio PM teams by defining team structures, workflows, governance, and collaboration models with content teams.
• Oversee delivery throughout the client lifecycle, from pre-sale and contracting through execution, reporting, renewal, and escalation management.
• Coordinate Sales, Client Solutions, Content, Performance Marketing, Legal, Product, Operations, and Finance stakeholders around client outcomes.
• Improve client satisfaction, resource utilisation, automation, reporting, and operational effectiveness while managing scope, budgets, timelines, and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team while promoting accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in programme and project management or a related discipline involving content products.
• Experience in media, publishing, advertising, marketing services, agencies, events, consulting, or another client-focused environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, including delivery against revenue, profitability, and client retention objectives.
• Hands-on experience managing complex projects and programmes while leading PM teams.
• Demonstrated success implementing programme management frameworks, operational processes, and governance models.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, problem-solving, and client expectation management skills.
