Salary: $152,800–$229,200 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Own software automation supporting manufacturing acceptance testing and visual inspection stations.
• Provide expert support for production-critical software issues and reduce operational downtime.
• Lead application enhancements, migrations, and modernization of legacy automation tools.
• Coordinate updates and releases with business stakeholders while managing technical risk.
• Establish and maintain SDLC documentation, testing, and release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant software engineering experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years, or a PhD with at least 3 years.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• U.S. work authorization is required; H-1B, TN, J, and other sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above in accordance with workforce planning.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with modern and legacy Windows operating systems and production systems in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing, legacy application modernization, or manufacturing traceability systems.
