Regional Tutor (Pharmacy Education)

Location: Home based; hybrid working arrangements may be considered. The role supports pharmacy professionals and NHS and Public Health services in England.

A university-based postgraduate pharmacy education centre providing continuing professional development and training programmes for registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

What you will do

• Identify local pharmacy workforce learning and development needs.
• Facilitate and deliver online and face-to-face workshops and open-learning support.
• Encourage participation in open-learning programmes, online learning and assessments.
• Work with local leaders and commissioners to develop relevant learning experiences.
• Support regional networking and promotion of educational materials.
• Line-manage event tutors within the region and attend required national and local meetings and training.

Requirements

• Experience or expertise relevant to pharmacy education and professional development.
• Ability to identify learning needs and deliver effective educational activities.
• Strong communication and networking skills for working with healthcare stakeholders.
• Proactive and responsive approach to regional learning support.
• Ability to undertake occasional national and local meetings and required training.
