Content Maintenance Specialist (Generative AI)

Location: Nationwide, United States. Applicants must already have US work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Analyze course performance metrics and student feedback to identify and prioritize content updates.
• Maintain instructions and learning materials as APIs and libraries such as LangChain, OpenAI SDK, and Hugging Face evolve.
• Fix bugs involving deprecated APIs, token limits, Python exercises, projects, and other student-reported issues.
• Update course text, screenshots, tutorials, exercises, and project starter code with current AI tools and technologies.
• Update Python packages and programming environments in hirify.global Workspaces, including migrations to newer Python versions.
• Test workspaces, exercises, and projects to verify that they function correctly for students.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software development experience with Python.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLM frameworks, including LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Hands-on experience with model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or Bedrock.
• Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and debugging Python-based exercises and projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, written communication, attention to detail, and a student-first mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining cloud-based learning environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience updating Docker- and Kubernetes-based development workspaces.
