Lead Product Designer, Banking (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States or onsite in San Mateo, California, with occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings.

What you will do

• Design high-quality interactive experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
• Lead projects through the full design lifecycle, from concept to production and release.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape strategy, roadmap, and growth objectives.
• Provide feedback and direction to other designers and raise the quality bar across the team.
• Evaluate design processes, identify best practices, and implement improvements.
• Use and contribute to the hirify.global Design System.

Requirements

• Significant end-to-end product design experience spanning UX and UI for consumer-facing products.
• Significant experience leading design for consumer fintech products.
• Strong systems thinking, visual design, communication, product strategy, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading important projects, delegating work, and directing other designers.
• Experience building and shipping mobile or web applications.
• Portfolio featuring relevant design work.

Nice to have

• Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Ability to translate designs into production-quality code.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
