Technical Project Manager - Security

TL;DR

Technical Project Manager - Security (Technical Implementation): Coordinating client-facing technical implementation projects across telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks with an accent on scope, schedule, dependencies, and documentation. Focus on coordinating multi-system integrations, surfacing delivery risks, maintaining project controls, and strengthening predictable client outcomes.

Location: Remote - United States, with approximately 50% of work performed at client sites or in office environments; occasional travel to client sites is required.

What you will do

• Coordinate tasks, milestones, dependencies, scope, schedules, procurement, and implementation readiness across assigned projects.
• Maintain project trackers, decision logs, action registers, status updates, client records, and other delivery documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, client contacts, handoffs, troubleshooting, and follow-up actions.
• Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and coordination issues early with clear context and proposed next steps.
• Support project health reviews, business reviews, proposals, scope changes, and client feedback processes.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute documentation updates and Pull Requests that improve workflow consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of project coordination or project management experience in an AEC or professional services environment.
• Working knowledge of scope, schedule, delivery coordination, project controls, and documentation practices.
• Strong organization, communication, prioritization, and follow-through across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with Asana, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Bluebeam, GitHub, VantagePoint, MS Project, Procore, and Navisworks.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work in construction or utility environments, including site walks and occasional physical activities.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting technical implementation projects and cross-functional coordination workflows.
• CAPM certification preferred.
• PMP or CDT certification.
