System Architect (Protocol Bridges)

What you will do

• Identify emerging markets and application trends to define roadmaps for protocol bridges, interface aggregators, and connectivity hubs.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications, value propositions, and competitive advantages while engaging directly with customers.
• Conduct competitive technical analysis and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with design, test, applications engineering, marketing, product marketing, and customer account teams to develop and launch products.
• Prepare product specifications, datasheets, white papers, presentations, application notes, and product demonstrations.
• Oversee reference circuits and demonstration boards, provide technical guidance for complex customer issues, and deliver application support and training.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in new product definition and architecture specification.
• Solid knowledge of multiple interface specifications, including USB2/eUSB2, I3C, I2C, UART, SPMI, SDIO, I2S, and real-time Ethernet at 100M/1G.
• Prior specification and development experience with protocol bridging, aggregator, and interface expander solutions based on MCU or hardware FSM architectures.
• Experience with IEEE 1722 and IEEE 1588 implementations.
• Good understanding of mobile, data center, robotics, and embedded/IoT system architectures.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate with partners and OEMs on innovative proposals and architectures.
• Active participation in and contribution to standardization efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a can-do attitude.
• BSEE in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of timestamping and security/encryption.
• Prior experience developing SystemC function models.
• Timing-accurate modeling experience.
• MSEE in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
