What you will do

• Operate APC automation and production systems for live and recorded television broadcasts.
• Build and maintain rundowns for broadcasts, PSAs, commercials, and other programming.
• Coordinate technical directing, audio mixing, graphics insertion, video playback, switching, and live or remote segment integration.
• Operate robotic cameras, support camera setup and shading, and complete facility readiness and pre-show equipment checks.
• Edit stories and video clips to meet broadcast quality standards.
• Direct on-air talent and technical crews while supporting station, studio, and remote productions.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience using iNews, Dalet, or an equivalent newsroom computer system.
• At least three years of related experience in directing, assistant directing, graphics, audio, camera, or robotic camera operations.
• At least three years of experience monitoring multiple screens and software applications in a broadcast environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Tampa and across a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience directing or technically directing live television productions.
• Three or more years of experience with APC systems, especially Ross OverDrive and XPression.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Broadcast Production, Communications, or a related field, or current enrollment in a degree program.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, accountability, and effective performance under tight deadlines.
