Infrastructure Engineer (Crypto)

Location: Remote, open to candidates in LATAM, Canada, and South Africa regions

What you will do

• Operate and scale OpenStack platform components including compute, networking, and provisioning
• Manage and troubleshoot Ceph storage systems and their integration with infrastructure
• Build automation and tooling to improve platform efficiency and reduce operational toil
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Contribute to documentation and runbooks for platform operations and troubleshooting
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in LATAM, Canada, or South Africa regions
• 3+ years experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack private cloud or Ceph storage platforms
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, Bash, or Go
• Ability to leverage AI tools such as Claude and OpenAI for business value delivery

Nice to have

• Experience running Kubernetes clusters
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
