Infrastructure and Platform Enablement, Lead

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 115,000–125,000 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary infrastructure and platform engineering contact for assigned product teams, services, and strategic initiatives.
• Translate product requirements and business outcomes into infrastructure and platform demand, plans, priorities, and commitments.
• Assess dependencies, feasibility, capacity, estimates, risks, and delivery commitments across compute, cloud, containers, networking, databases, storage, security, observability, and service operations.
• Coordinate operational readiness, resilience, security, compliance, service transition, and automated consumption paths.
• Maintain integrated views of milestones, dependencies, decisions, costs, risks, issues, and commitments.
• Communicate technical options, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to product and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, infrastructure architecture, technical service delivery, or technical programme delivery.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure, cloud, networking, DevOps, or platform engineering in regulated, security-conscious, highly available environments.
• Strong breadth across VMware or Nutanix, Windows Server or Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, enterprise networking, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Dynatrace, and Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong programme and project-management skills, including integrated planning, dependency management, RAID management, governance, and escalation.
• Ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, consumption data, licensing, managed-service costs, and financial variances.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity, plus a post-secondary qualification in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, financial services, critical infrastructure, infrastructure modernisation, or cloud migration.
• AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, networking, DevOps, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, FinOps, ITIL, or observability certification.
• Experience with managed service providers, consumption-based technology services, internal developer platforms, Golden Path adoption, AI, or AIOps.
