Product Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid role based in Wilmington, Delaware, United States

What you will do

• Partner with Product to improve application funnel efficiency and business KPIs.
• Develop and automate reporting and monitoring for funnel performance using SQL and Python.
• Design, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions for application, applicant verification, and operational processes.
• Support product managers with business value sizing and prioritization for Shop pod initiatives.
• Collaborate with software and data engineers to define data requirements and reporting workflows.
• Analyze customer pain points, support test launches, and present actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing data and delivering business insights.
• 1+ year of experience developing and deploying AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across business and technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating quantitative concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience evaluating third-party vendors and their capabilities.
