Senior Data Analyst, Product Optimization - Healthcare RCM/Insurance Discover

What you will do

• Analyze large healthcare revenue cycle datasets to identify trends, anomalies, data quality issues, coverage discovery gaps, and product improvement opportunities.
• Use advanced SQL and Databricks to query, structure, profile, and interpret high-volume data from multiple sources and operational workflows.
• Apply descriptive, diagnostic, and statistical techniques to evaluate product performance, validate hypotheses, and measure business impact.
• Use AI-assisted analytics and automation for pattern detection, anomaly identification, root-cause analysis, documentation, and insight generation.
• Build metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks for product enhancements, operational optimization, and customer outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Sales, and leadership to turn analysis into recommendations, business cases, and prioritized action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Healthcare Informatics.
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business analytics, healthcare analytics, revenue cycle analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregation, data validation, and performance-aware querying.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Spark, or comparable big-data platforms.
• Strong statistical reasoning, data modeling, data quality, API or data exchange, and operational healthcare data experience.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, Excel, or similar visualization tools, plus the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Healthcare revenue cycle experience involving eligibility, coverage discovery, claims, denials, patient access, payer data, or provider workflows.
• Product optimization or product operations experience in a healthcare technology environment.
• Practical Python or PySpark experience.
• Experience with analytical QA checks, data reconciliation, exception reporting, machine learning concepts, predictive analytics, or experimentation.
